Third grade class honored as published authors

Poems written by St. Catherine of Siena School’s third grade class have been chosen for publication in the 2009 Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans®. This is the second year that all of the students in teacher Elisa Reamer’s class, were chosen for publication.

The Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans® provides a forum through which selected young authors can see their work and the work of other students published in an actual book. Submissions are received from young poets, grades K-12, who live throughout the United States. The Anthology of Poetry, Inc.’s editors review each submission. Works are selected for publication based upon their originality, rhythmic sounds, rhymes and audience appeal.
