Preschool Technology

Preschool 4 teachers Mrs. Jeanne Mulieri and Mrs. Mary Giaquinto know their four year old students need a strong focus on cognitive development along with attention to their social/emotional development to be ready for kindergarten. Technology can play a key role in this preparation. With the recent addition of two Smartboards to their classrooms, SCS preschool 4 students are now given an opportunity to explore learning using technology tools in a playful, supportive environment. Shown above, preschool 4 student Olivia R. works on solving a math problem on a Smartboard in Mrs. Giaquinto’s classroom.

Snowmen

Mrs. Mulieri’s pre-k-4 class created their own winter bulletin board. First they each cut a part of the snowmen and then they cut a snowball.

In the hall, the decision was made as to where each part of each snowman would be placed. When the snowmen were finished, each child “threw” a snowball onto the bulletin board.

It looks like the snowmen are having a snowball fight!!!
