Teacher Appreciation Week

SCS parent Eileen Martorano rolls a cart of breakfast goodies for teachers, around to each classroom during during Teacher Appreciation Week held April 27-31 at St. Catherine's. The Home School Association sponsored the week with many parent volunteers decorating teacher's classroom doors. SCS teachers were treated to breakfast each morning, along with a warm "Thank You" for all they do at SCS.

St. Catherine Students Plant a Tree for Arbor Day

To celebrate National Arbor Day, third grade students from St. Catherine of Siena School in Cedar Grove planted a tree on April 29 with the help of Mr. Anthony Latella, of Latella Landscaping, in Cedar Grove. The tree planting was scheduled as part of the class's environmental studies where they are learning about the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, as well as gaining an appreciation of the earth's natural resources, including trees.

Prayer & Pizza

St. Catherine of Siena School Pastor Monsignor Robert Slipe enjoys a slice of pizza with school families during the annual Prayer & Pizza service in Siena Hall on Friday, March 27.
