To celebrate National Arbor Day, third grade students from St. Catherine of Siena School in Cedar Grove planted a tree on April 29 with the help of Mr. Anthony Latella, of Latella Landscaping, in Cedar Grove. The tree planting was scheduled as part of the class's environmental studies where they are learning about the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, as well as gaining an appreciation of the earth's natural resources, including trees.
